예수님께서는 이 땅에 계실 때 항상 길 위에 계셨습니다. 가난한 이들, 몸이 아픈 이들, 위로가 필요한 모든 이들을 직접 찾아가서 평안과 구원을 베푸셨습니다. 그리고 십자가와 부활을 통해서 하나님께로 나아갈 수 있는 ‘단 하나의 길‘이 되어 주셨습니다.

주님의 존재와 마음이 담긴 ‘길’이 바로 교회라는 깨달음 속에 ‘미드웨이’교회가 시작되었습니다.

미드웨이 교회는 믿는 사람과 아직 믿지 않는 사람 사이, 청년과 장년 사이, 선교지인 도심과 우리가 사는 지역사회 사이를 연결하는 길과 같은 교회가 되고자 합니다.

When Jesus was on this earth, He was always on the road.

He walked among the people, reaching out His hands of salvation to the poor, the sick, and all those in need of comfort.

Through His sacrifice on the Cross and His glorious Resurrection, He ultimately became the "One and Only Way" for us to come before God.
A path imbued with the Lord’s presence and His heart—that path came to us in the form of a church, and that was the beginning of Midway Church.

As the name suggests, Midway is a church that exists in the 'middle.' We strive to be the road that connects:

•Between those who believe and those who do not yet know Him,

•Between the younger and the older generations,

•Between the mission field of the city and our local community.

Our calling is to be the way that leads every soul back to the Lord.

미드웨이 교회는 미드웨이 심플처치를 함께 세워가고 있습니다.

미드웨이 심플처치는 주일에 교회에 나오지 못하는 청년들, 아직 교회에 오기에는 어려움이 있는 분들을 시티와 대학 캠퍼스에서 만나 교제하고 예배하는 선교적 교회입니다.

Midway Church Sydney is also building Midway Simple Church together.

Midway Simple Church is a missional community that meets young adults who are unable to attend Sunday services or who may find it difficult to step into a traditional church setting.

We gather in the city and on university campuses to share fellowship and worship together.

UTS 대학교의 공식동아리 한인기독학생회 모임 (GP-God's People)을 섬기며 여러 선교단체와 협력하고 있습니다.

Campus ministry is a central part of our calling.

We serve the UTS Korean Christian Student Fellowship (GP - God's People) and collaborate with many campus mission groups.

미드웨이 교회는 하나님의 임재가 가득한 예배를 드립니다.
우리는 단지 프로그램을 진행하는 교회가 아니라, 살아 계신 하나님을 예배하며 그분의 임재 가운데 머무는 공동체가 되기를 소망합니다.

Midway Church is a church that worships in the fullness of God’s presence. We do not simply want to run programs, but to become a community that truly worships the living God and dwells in His presence.

미드웨이 교회는 성도들을 환대하는 사랑을 구체적으로 표현합니다.
우리는 말로만 사랑하는 공동체가 아니라, 따뜻한 환대와 섬김을 통해 하나님의 사랑을 실제로 경험하게 하는 교회가 되고자 합니다.

Midway Church expresses welcoming love in tangible ways.
We want to be more than a community that speaks about love; we want to embody God’s love through genuine hospitality, care, and service.

셋째, 미드웨이 교회는 캠퍼스와 도시의 청년들에게 복음을 전하는 선교적 교회가 됩니다.
맛있는 식사와 환대하는 공동체를 통해 청년들을 초대하고, 복음을 전하며, 그리스도 안에서 새로운 삶으로 이끌고자 합니다. 그리고 이 교회는 심플 처치(Simple Church) 로 확장되어, 더 많은 청년들을 그리스도께 인도하는 공동체가 될 것입니다.

Midway Church is a missional church that brings the gospel to young adults on campus and in the city. Especially through shared meals and a welcoming community, we hope to invite young people in, share the gospel with them, and lead them into new life in Christ.
We also pray that this church will grow into a Simple Church movement, reaching even more young adults from different backgrounds and leading them to Christ.

미드웨이 교회는 평생에 걸쳐 하나님의 말씀을 배우는 교회입니다.
주일학교와 청장년 셀모임뿐 아니라, 결혼예비학교, 부부학교, 코칭학교, 시니어학교 등 다양한 교육 커리큘럼을 통해 성도들이 삶의 모든 계절 속에서 하나님의 말씀을 배우고 살아내도록 돕고자 합니다.

Midway Church is a church that learns God’s Word throughout every stage of life. Through a wide range of educational ministries—including Sunday school, young adult and adult cell groups, premarital classes, marriage courses, coaching programs, and senior school—we hope to help people learn and live out God’s Word in every season of life.
